It’s another lovely day, and many of us are spending a lot more time in our gardens, at the same time, wondering how we will manage to grow flowers and vegetables this year, due to the restrictions in place with regard to visiting the garden centres.

With this in mind, there are a couple of things we can all do.

The shop will take half finished packets of seeds, so we can share what we have around the village. So if you have excess seeds knocking about, please consider popping them in to Sharne and Vince.

Vince is in the process of getting some compost and grow bags.

Pat and Tony, who live at number 3 Netherway Cottages, Lower Street, will set up a table at the bottom of their drive for donations of plants and seedlings. There will be a bucket for donations of money which will be used to benefit a good cause in our village.

It would be great if we can all do a little to help.
