• There is a newcomer to the Village. He arrived on Wednesday 13 December and his name is SID (which stands for Speed Indicator Device).

You will see him flashing away as you drive into the Village on Castle Lane, and he will  rotate between Castle Lane and Shillingstone Lane spending 4-6 weeks at each location.

Please give him a warm welcome and assist him in his job as he flashes a 30 mph speed limit.

 Hopefully SID will make the Village a safer place and improve quality of life particularly for those residents who live on Castle Lane and Shillingstone Lane.
