On Saturday August 15th 2020 from10:30 to 13:30 the village’s museum will be open to mark the 75th anniversary of VJ Day – the end of World War 2.

Okeford Fitzpaine Local History Group will running the museum and will launch their book
‘Okeford Fitzpaine at War – Village Voices’.

The book is a collection of the recorded memories of village residents who lived through the war.

After the launch the book will be on sale in Okeford Village stores at £7.50.
