On a chilly December morning a group of eight 70-somethings cycled a 15 mile circular route from Stourpaine to enjoy Spetisbury Station’s Xmas festivities – hot drinks and hot dogs were much appreciated.  

This was a Government funded winter intervention ride under 

administered by Cycling UK to encourage more folk to keep active and warm.  Funding runs until  the end of February and, as well as guided rides, it offers 1:1 training for adults to learn or improve their cycling skills and gain confidence to use the bike for transport as well as healthy living.   You are never too old but fitness takes time so don’t delay getting started. . .
