Prostate Cancer: A Lot More Than ‘Just Man-Flu’.

Did you know that 1 in 8 men in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime? I am one of those men. My radiation treatment will begin next year, and until then I am focusing on improving my fitness so I can give myself the best possible chance of a strong recovery and a positive outcome.

That’s why I’m taking on the “Walk 60 Miles in November” challenge for Prostate Cancer Research. It is a meaningful way to stay motivated, keep moving, and stand up for a cause  that matters deeply to me and to so many other men and their families.

Prostate cancer affects lives in many ways, and research is essential to creating better outcomes for everyone impacted. By supporting my fundraiser, you can help advance vital work through Prostate Cancer Research and contribute to a future with less fear, better treatments, and more hope.

Please support me in this challenge by donating what you can to “Walk 60 Miles in November for Prostate Cancer Research”. My fundraising target is £150, and every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference. Visit https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/derek1792065176564.

Thank you for your kindness, encouragement, and support.

Note: My actual walk will be between 15 Nov and 14 Dec.
