Peter Buxton is an accomplished jazz-blues musician and songwriter, known for his expressive playing style and a natural connection with audiences.

Having performed extensively across the UK and Europe at festivals, wine bars, lounges, and private events, he blends laid back jazz sophistication with deep passionate blues.

He writes about places and feelings and spent his early life in the Peak District. His inspiration as a 60s teenager were the Who, the Beatles and  Clapton, later Jackson Brown, Ezio, Bonamassa, BB King and Ry Cooder.

Friday nights at Lore of the Sky are all about slowing down and settling in. As the week winds down, we turn up the vibe with live music that sets the perfect tone … laid-back, soulful, and just the right volume to let conversation flow.

Whether you’re meeting friends, bringing a date, or flying solo for some well-earned unwind time, our Friday evenings are designed for easy enjoyment. No rush. No fuss. Just good music, good drinks, and good company under the Lore of the Sky. ✨🍸
