New Trees at Bowey

Dear all,

At the last Parish Council meeting, it was agreed that trees would be planted at Bowey Park to provide shade in the summer. The trees selected for the top end of the park have been chosen specifically for their ability to thrive in the area, particularly given the high level of water runoff from the fields. These species are well-suited to absorb excess moisture.

The ideal planting time is within the next few weeks, meaning that if we wait until the next VCG meeting, we will miss the opportunity to get them in this season. Therefore, I am seeking approval for £250 of VCG funds to be allocated for purchasing the trees.

Please email me with your views as soon as possible so we can ensure this goes ahead in time, providing there is enough support.

Thank you!
