This is a Child Okeford WI fundraising event with proceeds going to
Friends of North Dorset Women’s Refuge.
Iestyn Edwards is an Olivier Award winning Guildhall trained opera singer, international variety headliner and after-dinner speaker. Edwards talks about being the Combined Services Entertainment ‘experiment’ sent out to entertain British troops in Iraq and Afghanistan during the conflicts. Wearing what 42 Commando nicknamed ‘a frock of many doilies’ … as heard of BBC Radio 4’s Midweek.
