The Fippenny Garden Club meets monthly in the Village Hall. It is a friendly club and you do not need to be an avid gardener to join in or find something of interest.

We have talks on subjects as diverse as mushrooms, mistletoe, butterflies, fuchsias, lavender, wildlife gardening, Italian gardens and gardening in WW1, and provide refreshments after the meetings.

Membership for a year is £10, but non-members are welcome to all our meetings at £2. The club is a member of the Castle Gardens (Sherborne) Gold Club, so members benefit from special discounts on bulbs, plants, compost and garden products at certain times of year.

We have an annual plug plant and potato growing competition, a well-attended harvest supper, and an annual visit to Castle Gardens for a short talk and tea, with a chance to use a discount card.
