Castle Gardens Speaker : Home Grown Fruit

The Fippenny Garden Club is a friendly club which welcomes new members and meets on the second Monday of the month in the Village Hall. You do not need to be a keen gardener to find something of interest as our talks cover a wide range of subjects. The topics for 2025 include bees, home grown fruit, roses, the garden through Art, and the flora of Yunnan. The club is a member of the Gardens Group Gold Club, so we enjoy discounts on seasonal purchases from Castle Gardens in Sherborne. We run plug plant, bulb and potato growing competitions during the year and will be holding a Summer Show on 30 August. We visit Castle Gardens for tea and a talk in February and enjoy a Harvest Supper and quiz each November. If you would like to join the club, come along to our AGM on 28 January, or any of our meetings, and non-members are always welcome at our talks for a small fee.
