The service, today, will be a Songs of Praise service.

We are looking for folk from all of our parishes who have a favourite hymn or worship song, who would be prepared to introduce the item, fairly briefly, saying why it is important/well-loved/special to them. Even if you don’t want to speak about your chosen hymn, do let me know what it is, as several other people may also find it dear to them.

It’s always lovely to hear why certain songs and hymns bring back special memories, or stir the heart strings! Perhaps you sang this at your wedding?

Maybe it was your mother’s favourite? Or it could be that the words really resonate with you.

Whatever the reason, do get in touch with me – the sooner the better, so that we may build a programme, and have a really joyful and uplifting musical service.

This is just a month away, so we need to ask for your support now! To give us time to plan the service we need your response by Sunday 4th August.
