The Stur Half, organised by the Dorset Doddlers is a road race and has been running since 1990.  The route follows rural roads in and  around Sturminster Newton.

As host venue of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic sailing events, the Weymouth area is an international sport event haven. Situated off the World Heritage Site Jurassic Coast, this race is a first-timer favourite, featuring sandy beaches, spectacular coastline and the stunning Dorset countryside.

The Stickler (now in its 31st year) is a 10.1 mile multi terrain running race. The Dorset Three Peaks involves over 1500ft of gruelling climbing, beginning with the infamous ’Stickle Path’.
