Based on the novel by Maggie O’Farrell, who co-wrote the screenplay.  William Shakespeare (Paul Mescal), a young Latin tutor, falls in love with the free-spirited Agnes (Jessie Buckley) and marries her despite his parents’ disapproval. 

Two down-on-their-luck musicians (Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson) form a joyous Neil Diamond tribute band, proving it’s never too late to find love and follow your dreams. But what is apparently a fairly standard rags-to-riches story is ruptured by a tragic twist of fate. Based on a true story.

H is for Hawk follows Helen (Claire Foy), who, after the sudden death of her father (Brendan Gleeson), loses herself in the memories of their time birding and exploring the natural world together. She turns to the ancient art of falconry – rooted in European tradition – and trains a wild goshawk named Mabel as a way to navigate her profound loss.
