Learn a new skill for 2026, in this free introduction to using optics from expert David House.  

Discover spotting scopes, binoculars and cameras for observing and photographing wildlife and get practical tips for getting the most out of your existing equipment. Examples of David’s photography work will be on show and a range of optics, supplied by Wessex Photo, will be available to look at in our Buzz Café area.  You will have the opportunity to handle these and ask questions.  

 

After the session, stay on to enjoy refreshments in the Buzz Café, and then join our Friday Walk at 2pm with Hannah, our Farm Estate Manager, and watch as David demonstrates the specialised optical equipment (‘optics’) he uses for observing wildlife at Bere Marsh Farm.
