Fippenny Garden Club welcomes new members and visitors and has a wide range of speakers of interest to anyone who loves gardens, plants, wildlife and the countryside. We have speakers this year on a wide range of topics including remarkable trees at Stourhead, garden pests, amusing tales from the potting shed, gardening for climate change, and Thomas Hardy’s gardens. The club also runs bulb, potato and plug plant growing competitions during the year, and will be organising the very popular Summer Show in July. We hold a Harvest Supper in the autumn, and benefit from generous discounts at Castle Gardens in Sherborne through the Gold Club scheme.
