Summer workshop: grow mushrooms on wood<\/h2>\n

Join our hands-on workshop to grow mushrooms on a wooden log<\/strong><\/h5>\n
\n

Led by passionate mycologist Andy Knott of Jurassic Coast Mushrooms, l<\/span>earn the art of log plugging,\u00a0a traditional low-cost, high reward method of\u202fgrowing mushrooms on wood, in your gardens.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Everybody will have the opportunity to produce their own mushroom log, while learning all about cultivating fungi,\u00a0along with other simple methods for encouraging mushrooms in your garden and green spaces.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout the event, The Buzz Cafe will be open, selling tea, coffee, soft drinks and delicious homemade cakes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

  • Participation fee: \u00a350 per adult \/ \u00a348 per CRT Friend or Volunteer<\/span><\/li>\n
  • The workshop will take approximately 2.5 hours.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0Booking is essential as spaces are limited.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • All resources will be provided.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Please wear something practical that you do not mind getting a little messy.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Subject to weather, public parking in a specially designated and clearly signposted\u00a0field is available at Bere Marsh Farm.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n
