Sturminster Newton Orchestra was formed in 1990 by a group of friends wanting to create an open and welcoming environment for young people, students and mature musicians of all standards to meet and play in an orchestral environment. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The project was a resounding success – the orchestra now has a nominal membership of over 50 players with average weekly rehearsal attendance of over 40 players! The orchestra incorporates all instruments of a symphony orchestra with a few band instruments to further enhance the group!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
